SEALED DOOR AT THE END OF A SHAFT
The section of this shaft is approximately 20 centimetres
by 20, and this is by what the Upuhaut robot'sprogression
was stopped aftera course of approximately 60 meters.
This Queen chamber's
southern shaft was sealed by a perfectly adjusted
door.
German engineer R.Gantenbrink specifies that the
door does not carry any trace of mortar and it was assembled
with a high degree of accuracy what lets suppose to him that
it would be mobile in one way or another.
He also made study the corroded bronze parts which would
have been cold inserted then folded up by hammering what can
let think that is the back of a handle.(Anyway a man or a
child cannot be held on the spot from where upuhaut took the
photograph, the section is 20 centimetres by 20).
He points out the perfect level of completion of the
internal walls of the shafts, which is not the case for its
other parts.
He finally raises the question to know if a hollow volume
would not exist other side of the door and proposes to check
it by the possible measurement of gas injection volume by
the lower right corner of the door which is chamfered.
In September 2002 a new Robot was sent with live
retransmission on televisions channels; Click here.
