CHEOPS´INTERNAL VUE

The design below shows the North-South vertical section of Cheops. (Click on the number 2 button to see the 20 cubits grid).

<<- SOUTH           NORTH ->>
See below for explanations.
Note: The scale of the design can make suppose in an erroneous way that the vertical axis of the Room of the King is located at 20 cubits from the axis of the Pyramid. Its shift in reality and it is important for the continuation, of 21 cubits.

A grid of 20 Cubits is each side distributed from the vertical axis in twice 11 times 20 cubits, that corresponds to the 440 (11 times 40) Cubits base, as for the vertical section we have 14 meshes of 20 cubits from the base to the top, that also corresponds to the 280 (7 times 40) Cubits height.

From this grid (and although there are shifted secondary grids), only simple ratios were used for the design.

Cheop's measurments.

Note: The values listed in this section are the result of the general usages established during 2005-2010.
They do not exactly overlap mostly with previously performed physical measurements that were mainly based on the work of WF Petrie, of Maragioglio and Rinaldi, those of J. Legon 1998, of R.Gantenbrink and various authors.
After 2003, G.Dormion and R. Birdsall had offered new documentary sources. I used these for updates or corrections, and I don't fail to thank them all for their inputs and contributions and for their intellectual integrity.
Thus in 2015, the issue of air shaft's output levels seems not to be decided at this time between 150 Cr or 154 Cr. Personally I refer to 150 Cr on the basis of the works of WF Petrie, of Maragioglio and Rinaldi, those of J. Legon 1998 and later on of those of R.Gantenbrink.
